A Bolster Length Capybara Plush Sewn Shut in One Piece

This one is built along its length rather than around a middle. The capybara is the sausage: its brown body runs the full length of a golden bun and the back stays bare along the whole top, with the head, two small ears and a pair of stubby paws showing at one end. The bun, the lime green lettuce frill and the red ketchup zigzag are all sewn to the body in the photographs, and no graphic on this page shows a piece coming off. What you handle is one long shape you lay down rather than stand up.

The Ketchup, the Lettuce and the Sleeping Face

Close up, the ketchup is drawn as one wide red outline stitched across the back: a narrow red border with the brown fur showing through inside it, and beside it a single solid rounded red patch. The lettuce is a lime green ruffle with a finished edge, caught in the seam between the bun and the brown back and running the length of both sides. The face is a large dark brown muzzle patch carrying two stitched nostrils and an upside down Y for the mouth, above two short black curves for closed eyes. Every eye on this model is thread, not plastic.

In the photographs the plush overhangs a sofa armrest at both ends and reaches from elbow to elbow when carried. Think of it as a long bolster you set down beside you, across a chair arm or along a bed edge, rather than something that stands on a desk.
