A Lap Sized Capybara Plush With A Leaf Held Over Its Head

At 12 to 22 in this one is built for a lap, a bed or a tent floor rather than for standing in a corner. It sits upright on its own, so it holds the pose in the photos on a duvet and on a sleeping bag without leaning on anything. A green plush leaf rests over the head, and its stalk runs down the side of the face, past one raised front paw, and hangs free against the chest.

The Leaf, the Stalk and the Paw It Runs Past

The leaf sits on the crown as its own green panel, and its stalk curves down the left side of the face, passes the raised front paw and carries on below it, ending loose at chest height rather than being gripped: the paw itself is a rounded stub with a dark tip and closes on nothing. Under it the coat is a long soft pile, and in the close up a halo of strands lifts clear of the head and the ear with the light catching them one by one. The muzzle is a deep chocolate block carrying a stitched nose and mouth, and both eyes are stitched shut as short dark curves.

Reading The 12 In, 16 In And 22 In Figures

Height runs 12 in / 30 cm, 16 in / 40 cm and 22 in / 55 cm on this page. No group shot compares them, and only one frame shows an adult holding the plush, so that single frame is the reference to use. Twelve inches is the small end of the menu. Twenty two inches fills a lap by itself, which is what that held photograph shows. Heights are the published figures for this model and are given as a guide.
