A Seated Capybara With Pumpkin On Head In Chestnut Brown Plush

The idea is simple: a capybara with pumpkin on head, and nothing else to distract from it. The plush is seated upright on its haunches, in warm chestnut brown fur, with a dark brown muzzle, small dark ears and four dark paws. On top of the head rests a small ribbed pumpkin in bright orange plush, finished with a green leaf. There is no outfit and no carved face on the pumpkin, so the look is more autumn harvest than haunted house. It measures 10 in (25 cm).

A Deadpan Face, A Ribbed Gourd And A Green Leaf

Seen up close, the pumpkin is stitched into rounded segments and topped with a flat green leaf with a jagged edge. Below it, the capybara's eyes are reduced to two short horizontal stitches, shut tight, which gives the deadpan expression the animal is known for. The muzzle is a broad dark brown patch with the nose and mouth stitched in. The body fur is fluffy and slightly tousled, and the front paws are held up against the chest.

A 10 Inch Plush For A Desk Or An Autumn Table

Because the pumpkin has no Halloween face, this plush can stay out from September through Thanksgiving. It is published at 10 in (25 cm), a mid-size: big enough to notice on a desk, a dresser or an autumn table display, small enough to carry in a backpack. The photos show it resting on two open palms and held in front of a sweater. Heights are the published figures for this model and are given as a guide.
